Spatial Experience Review
A review of flow, signage, merchandising, and atmosphere, how people actually move through the business, not how the floor plan says they should.
Most owners stop seeing their own space after a few months in. The awkward pinch point by the register, the sign nobody reads, the shelf that always looks picked-over by mid-afternoon, it all fades into the background because you walk past it every single day. A spatial review is built to un-fade it: someone moves through the space the way a first-time customer would, notices where they hesitate, and traces it back to one specific, fixable decision.
This isn't an interior design consult. It's a functional read: does the space help or hurt the experience you're actually trying to deliver, followed by a short list of changes you can make without a renovation.
For businesses where the space itself seems to be working against the brand or the staff.
We walk the space the way a first-time customer would, not the way you do.
Most spatial problems aren't about beauty. They're about friction, somebody pausing where they shouldn't have to.
The fix is rarely 'redo the whole layout.' It's usually three or four specific decisions quietly working against you.
If the space genuinely needs a renovation, we'll say so, instead of pretending a sign's gonna fix it.
What the Spatial Experience Review actually covers.
One of five ways to start working with Haulier & Co. — see the full list on the Process page.
An in-person or video walkthrough of the space, covering flow, signage, merchandising, and atmosphere.
A spatial readout with practical changes you can act on right away, plus a short list of bigger moves worth planning for.
The walkthrough itself usually takes about half a day. The readout follows within a week.
Nothing. It's actually more useful if the space looks like a normal day, not a staged one.
